Upon graduating from James Cook University with a bachelor of laws in 2017 I returned to the Sunshine Coast to proudly join the Life Law team where I am today employed as a family law solicitor.
I take great satisfaction in assisting people from all paths and backgrounds in successfully navigating the difficult times faced following a separation and ending of a relationship. In doing so I employ a personable and empathetic approach which I find is fundamental to developing trusting relationships with my clients that is underpinned by open communication.
In my day to day legal practice I advise on all aspects of family law including parenting disputes where I frequently act on behalf of a parent in a family dispute resolution conference or mediation, working to negotiate the best short term and long term parenting arrangements for the children. As our firm operates as a team, I often work in tandem with Fraser Murray on complex matters where we find that clients receive all the benefits and efficiencies of having two lawyers working on their matter, but at a fraction of the cost.
I am a member of the Sunshine Coast Law Society, Family Law Practitioners Association and the Queensland Law Society. As a firm we are also strong supporters of the Suncoast Community Legal Centre and where I also volunteer.
